Hi! welcome to my first ever blog. I’m going to introduce a not so old WS series called “Is the order a rabbit??” and see if it suits you to play. (I’ll assume that you know WS rules very well, and sorry for bad English)
But first, what is Rabbit?? or something, or what…
“Is the order a rabbit?? (JPN: ご注文はうさぎですか??, “Gochiusa” in short) ” is the Japanese anime series, about a girl named “Cocoa” moved into city studying in high school. There, she met “Chino”, a barista girl that she will live with from now. Then the story begins…
Enough with stories, what about cards?
The series is on Weiss side, with all four colors are used. Depending on style, only certain combinations will work since there are no trait in common at all. (Unlike “Music” in Bang Dream, or “Net”, “Avatar” in SAO). This series of blogs will cover useful combinations for Gochiusa. (excluding Waifu decks)
But first, restriction list
WS Gochiusa trial deck and booster pack were first released in 2016 with following extra booster in the same year, making them one of the greatest meta deck during that time. Reference to year 2019 (first half) restriction list.
Chino & Cocoa, Good to Have Met, one of the strongest finishing combo in this series with two different signs for each voice actresses. (Left : Normal/Foil, Center : Ayane Sakura (Cocoa), Right : Inori Minase (Chino)) It deals 1 damage twice (thus cancelling only 1 damage at the time), plus 6000 power, surpassing reverse ability very easily.

Cocoa, Going Together, one of the most dreadful counter ever in WS. Not only it kills opponent’s early play character , it can be used to avoid opponent’s reverse ability and creating chance for your own. Due to the cost that insanely cheap (①, sacrifice one of your character) in return to let opponent play level 0 character from waiting room, this card is inserted in almost every deck in the series because of how strong it is (even without same name or trait).

Chino & Cocoa, Good to Have Met and Cocoa, Going Together are in choice restriction list (Choose 1 of 2) to not let this series being too powerful. However, they are already strong enough on their own without the other card.
Then how many variations this series have?
This series divided into six lines, based on traits, names, colors as followings.
Rabbit house
The most popular and the most effective line by far. Characters have “Rabbit house” (ラビットハウス) trait in common, featuring three characters : Cocoa (Red), Rize (Red), and Chino (Blue). This line focuses on getting the target card to minimize chance factor while keeping average power on the board. This line also features one of the most effective early play healer that helps controlling game pace as player wishes.

Chimame the anti-sister lolis
The strongest line before extra booster was released, and still very popular nowadays. Characters have Blue color in common, featuring three main (one support) characters : Chino, Maya, Megu, and Aoyama Blue Mountain. This line focuses on very high power exceeding 6000 on opponent’s turn, plus effective hand replenishing combo that thin the deck extremely fast. This line also have “level up” gimmick that alters character’s level (both player and opponent) for certain combos to work.

Chiya and Syaro the childhood friends
This line has been greatly upgraded since “Dear My Sister” booster pack was released in 2018. Characters have “Syaro”(シャロ) and “Chiya” (千夜) in the card text in common, featuring two characters : Syaro (Yellow), and Chiya (Green). This line focuses on high power on player’s own turn via Active ability and clock manipulation that helps player savage target card from clock easily.

Dear My Sister
New born line after “Dear My Sister” booster pack was released, making it one of the strongest line, rivaling Rabbit House. Characters have “Dear My Sister” trait in common, featuring every single character in “Dear My Sister” booster pack. This line focuses on very strong finishing combo and Memory usage.

Hot bakery
Not so popular but kind of effective line. Characters have “Bread” (パン) trait and “Cocoa” (ココア) or “Mocha” (モカ) in card name and text, featuring three characters : Cocoa (Red), Mocha (Red), Cocoa’s mom (Red). This line focuses on Memory to give either additional power/ability, or playing character directly from Memory. This line also have ability to beat level 3 characters effectively.

Best Shot the Meme
The so called Best Shot deck was first introduced after extra booster was released, later was upgraded via arrival of “Dear My Sister” booster pack. Cards have “宝物” (Japanese : meaning “Tresure”) in common, featuring all three card types : Character, Event, and Climax. This line focuses on souls which above 30 cards contain soul icon (Climaxes contain 2 soul icons) resulting in very high damage output even without climax in Climax Area. This line also have gimmick on sacrificing climax to the Memory for additional power and ability, making it high risk high return deck. (Difficult to pull off, but very strong effect)

And that’s all for now. In the next chapter we will talk about each line specifically. See you next time!
